CrossFit Icehouse Programs

CrossFit

CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity. These include your 3 Session On-Ramp program at the beginning of your membership as well as Open Gym times, and visits may be used on Barbell Basics, Team Workouts, Yoga, Flux and other various classes and events held at or by CrossFit Icehouse. CrossFit is scale-able for any and all levels, and our coaches are here to help along the way.

Icehouse Challenge

The Challenge uses the CrossFit methodology of constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity to develop strength and endurance while promoting fat loss. This class focuses on bodyweight exercises and metabolic conditioning without the complex barbell lifts used in regular CrossFit classes. Challengers can also expect to receive in depth information regarding nutrition and fitness aimed at improving health and wellness while also promoting fat loss.

FLUX

FLUX class combines three proven fitness disciplines-yoga, strength, and conditioning in the most unexpected and refreshing way. We focus on gaining lean muscle mass and burning body fat.  Our 50 minute group class begins with a yoga inspired warmup, a 5-15 min workout, and ends with a yoga flow to cool down and re-center before returning to your day. You will use equipment such as kettlebell, dumbbells, pull-up bars, medicine balls and plenty of body weight movements utilizing and the best piece of machinery available…yourself!

Nutrition Coaching

Nutrition is directly connected to both training and recovery and is demonstrated in our body composition and energy levels. We take nutrition so seriously here at Icehouse, that we have our own Precision Nutrition Certified Coach, Mimi.

Olympic Lifting

Olympic Lifting or OLY is for those who want to improve their technique and efficiency in the snatch, clean, and jerk. Each hour-long class will break down a specific Olympic style lift, covering the basic positions and foundational movement patterns. Whether you’re looking to improve your performance in workouts or to become a competitive lifter, this class is for you!

Yoga for Athletes

Yoga for athletes is a combination of vinyasa style flow and restorative yoga. This class focuses on recovery and mobility athletes need to balance their training. It is a great way to cool down from another workout, or use as an active recovery day.

Requires a minimum 3x/Week or Flux Membership
